Why choose a steel building over other methods of construction? Steel buildings offer a cost effective, flexible, low maintenance and energy efficient structure that can be designed to fit almost any situation. Every steel building from Standard Steel Buildings comes pre-punched, pre-cut, pre-drilled and pre-welded. By using this steel building manufacturers process, it allows for the building to be erected in a fraction of the time. Steel is the least expensive material of all the available methods of construction. With low initial building cost and virtually no maintenance along with a 25 year limited warranty, steel is a hands down winner. |

Who will erect my building? You may be surprised to know that on smaller building projects many of our customers choose to erect there own. For larger building projects, or ones you don’t wish to tackle on your own, have no fear. Standard Steel has access to erectors all over the country that know our products and will be happy to erect your new building. |

Can you deliver anywhere in the USA? Yes. Standard Steel Buildings are shipped from 12 manufacturing plants within the US. All of our shipping points are AISC certified (American Institute Of Steel Construction) and in good standing with the MBMA (Metal Building Manufacturing Association). We take great pride in using American steel, ensuring that our customers receive only the best quality commercial steel buildings and steel warehouses available. |

Will a steel building conform to my local building codes? Standard Steel Buildings are engineer stamped and certified for all US and local building codes including snow, wind, seismic and exposure ratings. |

How long does it take to get a building delivered? Most buildings can be manufactured in as little as 4-6 weeks depending on the size and complexity. It is important to know that every steel building from Standard Steel Buildings is custom manufactured and during certain times of the year the process may take a while longer. |

Can you insulate a steel building? Yes. Insulation for a steel building is a little different from what you might be use to. Standard Steel Buildings carry all types and R-value insulation specifically designed for steel buildings. |

Will I need an engineered foundation design? Local building department requirements may vary. The best way to know is to call your local building department and ask. If you are required, Standard Steel Buildings can provide you with one for an additional fee. |

Can I choose the color of the building? Yes. We have several colors to choose from, and you may select the wall and trim color at no additional cost. |

Does a steel building have to look like a warehouse? Not at all, by choosing one of our many exterior options you can make the outside of your new building look like stone, brick or stucco. We also have a full line of doors, windows and accessories that give you the ability to customize your new building. |

Do you offer financing? Yes, through arrangements with several national lenders we offer programs including non-profit, commercial and signature loans. We also have several lenders that specialize in church financing ranging from start ups to multi-million dollar projects. |
